CHANGE LOG
Atomiswave Metal Slug 6 Fix + Remote Support Improvements
January 12, 2026
DESCRIPTION:
v11.2.0 – Fixed an Atomiswave issue affecting Metal Slug 6.
This update resolves a green screen problem where Metal Slug 6 could boot normally the first time, but fail on later launches. The update refreshes the game’s required NVRAM data to restore reliable startup behavior.
Remote Support has also been updated for more consistent connections and fewer failed connection attempts. Additionally, the Wi-Fi setup tools have been refreshed with the latest improvements.
NOTE FOR USERS: Please update to v11.1.9 and REBOOT before updating to v.11.2.0. Users may experience errors if selecting BOTH v11.1.9 and v11.2.0.
Update System Reliability Upgrade
January 10, 2026
DESCRIPTION:
v11.1.9 – Behind-the-scenes update system improvements.
This update upgrades the way your arcade downloads and applies future updates to make the process more reliable and less error-prone. Updates are now verified before installing, applied in a safer order, and the updater is better at handling interrupted/failed downloads.
No gameplay or control changes in this version—this is strictly an update framework upgrade to support future releases.
4-Player Support & Control Fixes
July 14, 2025
DESCRIPTION:
v11.1.8 – Restored and refined 4-player support across PSX, NES, Genesis, and SNES titles. PlayStation multitap handling has been corrected, with games now properly detecting whether multitap should be enabled on Port 1 or Port 2. NES, Genesis, and SNES 4-player configurations were also updated, removing games that don't actually support 4 players and ensuring correct multitap settings for supported titles.
Controls for Naomi, Atomiswave, and Dreamcast have been updated to fix issues with analog input on certain games, restoring full playability where analog controls are required.
Additionally, two problematic Naomi titles (Airline Pilot and 18 Wheeler) have been removed due to control issues and performance problems.
